Remains of martyr Lance Naik Purama Goparaju reach Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The mortal remains of Lance Naik Purama Goparaju, who died in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, arrived in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.
Lance Naik Goparaju of the 6 Madras Regiment had exhibited unwavering commitment and indomitable courage in the line of duty, a statement said.
His mortal remains were received at the Military Hospital in Secunderabad, where a wreath-laying ceremony will be organised early on Wednesday. The remains be taken to his hometown, Pallekola, Bhattiprolu tehsil in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, where he will be accorded a funeral with military honours.
