GHMC sanitation workers' timings continue as before

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) conducted assessment of dilapidated structures in the city and identified over 340 structures which have been posing grave threat to the residents. Authorities said that instructions were given to the civic staff to implement the monsoon action plan effectively to prevent life loss. The civic body requested people staying in dilapidated buildings to cooperate with them in demolition or get the buildings repaired in the interest of safeguarding lives and property. (Twitter)

Hyderabad: The GHMC sanitation working hours will continue as before, officials said in a statement on Wednesday. There has been an exemption of one hour given to the workers during summer, which is withdrawn now.

GHMC said in a statement that the working hours of sanitation workers will continue as usual. As the summer season is over, the officials concerned said that they should attend before 6 am every day and perform their duties properly from then till 2 pm.
