Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has assured that pensions to landless poor in Amaravati will be distributed as usual from May.

Announcing this on Wednesday, APCRDA commissioner Vivek Yadav clarified that some pensions of March could not be distributed in April due to a technical problem. He assured that the pensions that could not be given in April will not be distributed along with the pension in May.

Vivek Yadav pointed out that APCRDA has been distributing community pensions to landless poor since November 2022. A technical issue in integration of pensions data for the month of March had caused a small interruption in distribution of pensions.

The commissioner maintained that with the technical issue having been overcome, landless people will be getting their pensions as usual from May onwards.
