Srisailam to Organize Giri Pradakshina Today

Kurnool: On the occasion of Margashira Suddha Pournami, the Srisailam Devasthanam is organising the traditional Giri Pradakshina programme on Tuesday. This activity begins at the temple's Mahadwaram and passes through various sacred sites such as Gangadhara Mandapam, Ankalamma Temple, Nandi Mandapam, Bayalu Veerabhadraswamy alayam, Alakareshwar Temple, Sarangadhara Math, Hemareddy Mallamma Mandir, Mahishasuramardhini alayam, Rudraksha Math, Vibhuti Math, Rudrapanam, concludes at Nandi Mandapam in Suddhavanam. Devotees participating in the Giripradakshina will be provided free darshanam.

Further, minister Dr Seediri Appala Raju visited the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam on Sunday. The temple authorities welcomed him in the traditional manner, and he offered prayers to the presiding deities along with his family members. The temple town also witnessed a significant influx of devotees on this auspicious day.
