Hyderabad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Train To Be Flagged Off Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the third Vande Bharat train service from Telangana on September 24, 2023, via video conference.

It will connect India's major IT capitals Hyderabad and Bengaluru. This train will be the first Vande Bharat service connecting both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with Karnataka.

It will start from Kacheguda railway station in Hyderabad and connect with Yesvantpur railway station in Bengaluru city. The 610 km distance between Kacheguda and Yesvantpur will be covered within a short span of 8 hours 30 minutes, which is 2 hours 50 minutes less than the existing fastest train in this section.

The regular train service of the Kacheguda-Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express will commence ex-Yesvantpur from September 25, 2023 and from Kacheguda with effect from September 26, 2023. The train is composed of 8 coaches, (7 AC chair car coaches and 1 executive chair car coaches) with a capacity to shift 530 passengers. The train will be in service 6 days in a week, except Wednesday.

The train will start from Kacheguda railway station at 5:30 am and reach Yesvantpur at 2:00 pm daily.

In the return direction, the train will start from Yesvantpur at 2:45 pm and reach Kacheguda by 11:15 pm.

The fares for the train are as follows.

The AC chair car fare including catering charge from Kacheguda to Yesvantpur is Rs 1,600 and the executive class fare is Rs 2915. Similarly, AC chair car fare including catering charge from Yesvantpur to Kacheguda is Rs 1540 and the executive class fare is Rs 2865.

The AC chair car fare without catering charge from Kacheguda to Yesvantpur is Rs 1255 and the executive class fare is Rs 2515.

The AC chair care fare without catering charge from Yesvantpur to Kacheguda is Rs 1255 and the executive class fare is Rs 2515.

The previous routes in which Vande Bharat trains are already being run are Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad-Tirupati.
