Unidentified miscreants destroy Alappuzha press club banner

A complaint following the incident was registered with the police.

Alappuzha: A flex board of the Alappuzha Press Club was cut by two unidentified men who then attached a piece of paper which read ‘ it’s by Bar Association’ on Friday. A complaint following the incident was registered with the police.

According to VS Umesh, President, Press Club, the incident took place  in the evening following the rally carried out by Bar Association members as part of the  ongoing fracas between lawyers and mediapersons. The board was partially destroyed.

Meanwhile, Bar Association members who visited the place said that disciplinary action would be taken if anybody in the Association was involved in the incident. Journalists in Alappuzha carried out a march in protest against the flex board incident.
