QR enabled tickets for Yadadri devotees like in TTD

Hyderabad: The Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) has decided to issue QR code enabled tickets for devotees on the lines of TTD at Tirumala.

YTDA vice-chairman G. Kishan Rao said the Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) had been entrusted with the task of managing and operating the QR code ticketing system.

Officials will scan the tickets and allow devotees to proceed for darshan through the queue complex.  He said 20 ticket counters atop the hill have been set up for the purpose and devotees have to obtain the tickets, which include special darshan and free darshan. The tickets will be issued on hourly slot basis.

He said to escalators had been arranged for senior citizens and physically challenged persons. It was also decided to provide free shuttle services from YTDA bus bay at Gandi Cheruvu downhill to the hilltop for the convenience of devotees.
