Vijayawada: State government has once again issued a notice to AP Government Employees Union leader K.R. Suryanarayana, asking why the recognition of AP Commercial Taxes Department Employees Association (APCTDEA), of which Suryanarayana is the president, should not be revoked.

The union leader said in the past too, the department had issued notices regarding staging protests at the office of additional commissioner of commercial taxes department regarding the transfer of employees. He said a fresh notice has been issued seeking an explanation, giving two weeks of time before cancellation of APCTDEA’s recognition.

Suryanarayana said the association will hold a meeting on Friday, April 21, to discuss the fresh notice and formulate its future course of action. He claimed that YSRC government is taking revenge against him and various associations for meeting the then AP Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan.

They had submitted Harichandan a memorandum, pointing out that payment of salaries to government employees is being delayed.
