GHMC ignores mosque's call for an approach road
With the road works being carried out in the parts of the colony the masjid authorities are demanding why their stretch is being left out.
Hyderabad: It is only an extension of 200 feet to the Dargah Masjid and Ashoor Khana at Satyanarayan Colony in Hayatnagar but the LB Nagar East Zone is not attending to it despite several letters from the masjid authorities.
Mr Mir Hadi Ali a member, explained, “The roads in the colony at Satyanarayan colony are being laid but the 200 feet till the masjid is not being taken up. There is no road per se and the area is filled with mud. The recent rains have led to wild growth and senior citizens are not able to walk or ride through.”
With the road works being carried out in the parts of the colony the masjid authorities are demanding why their stretch is being left out.
Mr Mir alleged that several representations were made by the masjid authorities and also the local community members but there was no response. Devotees are requesting GHMC to make it motorable so that people can easily come to the dargah and masjid. The GHMC authorities refused to comment on the subject stating that they were not aware of any complaints for the road.
