Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) on Saturday destroyed internal roads, drainage system and survey stones of a real estate venture at Pedda Pulipaka in Penamaluru mandal of Krishna district for being unauthorised.

APCRDA commissioner Vivek Yadav said the layout has been built without obtaining approval from the CRDA. He asked officials of the authority to similarly destroy all illegal layouts formed within the limits of CRDA.

Vivek Yadav warned real estate owners not to sell plots without obtaining permission from APCRDA. “It is a crime and punishable,” he underlined. Further, he warned people against purchasing plots in such ventures. He maintained that those acquiring plots in illegal layouts will not be issued permission for constructing their houses.

The APCRDA commissioner made it clear that permissions will be given to ventures that follow rules and regulations and provide infrastructure facilities, such as roads, water supply, drainage and other amenities.

He asked people to inform CRDA officials about any unauthorised layouts on WhatsApp number 70955 99838 or website http://crda.ap.gov.in
