Birthday wishes pour in for former PM HD Devegowda as turns 91

BENGALURU: Former prime minister and Rajya Sabha member H.D. Devegowda turned 91 on Thursday and dignitaries cutting across party lines wished him on the occasion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu were among those who extended greetings to him.

In his wish to Devegowda, PM Narendra Modi stated “Greetings to our former Prime Minister H.D. Devegowda ji on his birthday. His contribution towards our nation is noteworthy. Pray for his long and healthy life." Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai also wished Devegowda on his birthday.
