Vizag corporator alleges TDR scam in Daspalla Hills
Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena corporator Murthy Yadav has alleged that Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy orchestrated breach of land regulations in Daspalla Hills, leading to illicit allotment of TDR (Transfer of Development Rights) amounting to a staggering ₹2,000 crore.
In this regard, he went on to accuse officials of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority of acting at the behest of the MP and widening a 40-feet road to an extravagant 100-feet in Daspalla Hills without the consent of the area’s residents.
Murthy Yadav claimed that this expansion is linked to the Daspalla Hills TDR scam.
Additionally, he charged that town survey records have been manipulated, which could lead to mis-labelling government-owned properties as private assets.
The corporator called for a CBI probe and swift action against those involved in these scams.
