Comic Con 2023 kickstarts in Bengaluru

The 11th edition of Maruti Suzuki Arena Bengaluru Comic Con powered by Crunchyroll returned for a three-day extravaganza starting 17th November. The event witnessed global and national artists along with cosplay enthusiasts and fans gathering at the KTPO Centre, Whitefield in Bengaluru. An exclusive engaging activity with international pro cos player Brittani Ginoza was the highlight of Day One. With the musical sensation Shah RuLe, the stage was set right for the most happening weekend of the year. The spirit was retained by Raj Comics by Sanjay Gupta through their special session followed by a standup act by the ever-comedic Azeem Banatwala and a special performance by OWND. Comic Books, Bullseye Press and Hallu Bol launched their comic books at the event followed by the Amar Chitra Katha’s Pictionary.

In the coming days, Bengaluru Comic Con will also host a special session with the Archie Comics’ artist Dan Parent, apart from the special Binge O’ clock live with Rohan Joshi and Sahil Shah, the stage will be all set for a music and art performance by Afsar and Mooze One.

The performance line up also includes popular artists like Geek Fruit, Vilas Nayak presented by Warner Bros and standup comedian Nirmal.

Bengaluru Comic Con 2023 will also host a unique session with Kodansha Comic and Manga Planet followed by comic book launches of Forbidden Verse, Queensland Studios, Bakarmax and Abhijeet Kini. The upcoming days will also include a special musical performance from MC Altaf and a live standup session with the hilarious Gaurav Kapoor.

Audiences can catch the action as Bengaluru’s finest cosplayers battle it out to represent the city at the Indian Championship of Cosplay 2023! Bengaluru Comic Con to conclude on November 19, 2023.
