Boy playing cricket electrocuted in Kadapa

ANANTAPUR: A 12-year-old boy got electrocuted at Chinnayyagari Palle in Mydukur mandal of Kadapa district on Sunday while playing cricket.

The boy had gone to retrieve the ball, which had fallen on the roof of a shed. While collecting the ball from the roof, he came into contact with a live wire overhead and got electrocuted.

He suffered serious burn injuries and died on the spot.
