Kazhakootam school has seven new tribal students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It was a great day for the seven tribal students from Karandipra, Dhonikunel, Kallakkara Ooru’s , the remote areas of Attapadi in Palaghat district, who recently joined Sainik School Kazhakootam in class VI when  the Chairman of Kerala State Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Commission, Justice (Retd) P.N. Vijayakumar visited them.

He was accompanied by other commission members, Ezhukone Narayanan and  K.K. Manoj along with the registrar, Stephen who visited them on the campus.  The chairman and members interacted with the children and staff at length and exhorted them to excel in all activities offered by the school for development. Later the commission members went around the campus with the principal Col. A. Rajiv and expressed happiness with the extensive facilities being provided to the students.
