VIJAYAWADA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has changed the issuance of Slotted Sarva Darshan and Divya Darshan tokens to devotees of Lord Venkateswara.

Devotees who wish to trek along the Alipiri footpath will be issued tokens in Bhudevi Complex alone. After collecting these tokens, devotees will have to scan them at the 2,083rd Step of the Alipiri footpath, failing which they will not be allowed to have their darshan.

Similarly, devotees who receive Divya Darshan (DD) tokens at Bhudevi Complex are eligible for darshan only if they reach Tirumala through the Alipiri footpath route. They cannot have darshan in case they use any other footpath or another means of transportation.

As usual, devotees trekking the Srivari Mettu footpath will be issued tokens at the 1,240th step.

Devotees reaching Tirumala by road can collect their Slotted Sarva Darshan tokens from Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam and Govindaraja Swamy Choultries in Tirupati.

People need to take note of these guidelines and plan their pilgrimage to Tirumala accordingly.
