Dasara Holidays For Telangana Schools, Colleges, Check Dates
Schools and colleges will reopen on October 26 (Thursday)
Dasara is the biggest festival celebrated in Telangana. The festivities continue for a longer period and it is celebrated in a grand manner because another festival Batukamma also falls in the same month.
For the same reason, the government declares holidays to schools, colleges and offices for this festival before hand.
The education department had already released the academic calender 2023-24 for the educational institutions in which Dasara holidays were declared for 13 days, against the 14 days declared last year.
In 2023,the Dasara holidays will begin from October 14 and continue till October 25. Schools and colleges will reopen on October 26 (Thursday).
Similarly, Christmas holidays were also reduced to 5 from 7. Sankranti holidays will begin from January 12, 2024 and continue till January 17, 2024.
Parent-Teacher meet should be held on every third Saturday in a month. School Education committee meetings should be held in the first week of every month.
