Sanskrit Day celebrations start at Calicut University

Kozhikode: Calicut University’s  two-day Sanskrit Day  celebrations kickstarted  at the campus on  Thursday with a variety of  programmes.   The programme, organised by the Sanskrit  teaching department,  was inaugurated by Professor P. Narayanan Namboothiri at the Sanskrit department Hall.  Lectures, cultural programmes, etc are  being conducted as part of  the programme.  

Prof K.V. Vasudevan,   Dr Vishnu Namboothiri, Dr E.N. Narayanan  among others will participate in the event.  Dr E.N. Narayanan  will deliver a talk on  ‘Language of Hand gesture: Kerala style’ on Friday.
