Corruption will be wiped out, says Kadakampally Surendran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mr Kadakampally Surendran, power and devaswom minister,  has said that the new government’s goal is   “a  secular, corruption-free and developed Kerala.”    The LDF government will wipe out  corruption, he said while   inaugurating a session on the ease of doing business in Kerala organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry here.

“Kerala is a  good place for doing  eco-friendly business where ‘value-added manufacturing’ will be given  top priority,” he said.  The government will take steps to provide modern  infrastructure facilities for the overall economic development of the state, he added.  

Mr C.R. Sasikumar, managing director, State Bank of Travancore, said in his address that the state needs to improve in skilling, employability, high speed data connectivity etc.  To face the  challenges,  the mindset of the people must change, he said.
