VIJAYAWADA: Chief secretary Dr. K.S. Jawahar Reddy reviewed preparations Andhra Pradesh is making before attending the 31st Southern States Zonal Council meeting in Mahabalipuram on December 29.

In particular, the CS reviewed with officials of the state decisions of the 30th Southern Zonal Meeting and action taken by AP thereon.

These include Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC), funds from the central government for the establishment of the state capital for AP, electricity dues from Telangana state, various tax subsidies from the centre to the state, subsidies to industries and AP Bhavan in Delhi, and Ayushman Bharat.

SRC chief secretary L. Prema Chandra Reddy, special chief secretary (Finance) S.S. Rawat, principal secretary (Education) Praveen Prakash, commissioner (Cooperation) Babu A, TR&B secretary Pradyumna, secretary (Services) P. Bhaskar, SEB director Ravi Prakash and special secretary (Housing) Diwan Maideen were among those who participated in the meeting.

Special CS (Health) M.T. Krishna Babu, principal secretary (Women and Child Welfare) Jayalakshmi, industries secretary Dr. N. Yuvaraj and Iaw secretary Satya Prabhakar participated in the meeting virtually.
