Sabarimala revenue hits Rs 101 crore

Kochi: The revenue collection at the Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple has crossed Rs 100-crore mark in the first 25 days of the Mandala puja season. The earnings stood at a record Rs 101 crore as on Monday as against Rs 85.96 crore in the corresponding period last year. “The total revenue collection as on Monday is Rs 101,08,80,925. The income from the sale of Appam and Aravana is the highest at Rs 52,63,02,745 while the hundi collection is Rs 35,89,26,885,” sources in the TDB said.
