Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Narsimha Rao claimed that the YSRC government had completely failed in its four-year tenure and that the government was now unable to pay salaries to employees and would face the consequences in the coming days. He pointed out that both the YSRC and Telugu Desam governments had deceived the people by telling lies and would face the consequences in the coming elections. He claimed that the people in AP were against YSRC and TD, and the only alternative in AP is the BJP and Jana Sena alliance.

The MP further claimed that the Centre had been giving necessary funds to AP but the state government was not utilising the funds for developing the state. He emphasised that, despite providing funds for railway projects, the CM Jagan government was inept and careless, as the state government was refusing to support projects that had already been sanctioned and acting irresponsibly.

Narasimha Rao said that the centre had provided additional assistance of Rs 7,000 crore to AP but there was no development and the people of the state were criticising the government. He stated that the YSRC government was trying to throw the blame on the Centre. He further added that, like TD, YSRC was sure to suffer a big blow. Narasimha Rao criticised the government for not bothering to develop industrial zones in the state, including Visakhapatnam, which would have an effect on the forthcoming Global Investment Summit.
