Kalyana Ritual of Four Famous Shiva Temples in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: The wedding ritual or kalyana mahotsavam will be conducted to the presiding deities of  two famous Shaiva temples from Andhra Pradesh and two from Telangana state at Gymkhana Ground in Secunderabad, from December 14 to 17.

The ritual will be conducted for deities of the Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh, Sri Veerabhadra Swamy temple at Muramalla near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, Sri Bhadrakali Sametha Veerabhadra Swamy temple of Bonthapally, Sangareddy district, and Veerabhadra Swamy temple at Kuravi in Mahbubabad district.

A team from the Sri Bhadrakaali Sametha Veerabhadra Janaseva Vahini Trust, which is organising the ritual, has met executive officers of all the four participating temples and requested them to send their teams to perform the ritual in Hyderabad.

“We are inviting VIPs and celebrities. We have met a few swamijis, peethaadhipathis, and mathadhipathis to seek their blessings, guidance and presence at the event.. There has been an excellent support and overwhelming response for our endeavour. We will also make further announcements for involving people as volunteers or other modes of support,” a trust member said.
