Techie aided by KTR for higher studies donates Rs 1L to CM Fund

IT employee Rudhra Rachana ties a rakhi to minister K.T. Rama Rao, who had helped for her higher studies.

 Hyderabad: In an inspirational tale to her peers, Hyderabad-based techie Rudra Rachana on Monday met IT minister K.T. Rama Rao and donated Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as a gesture to thank Rama Rao for financial aid he provided to her in 2019.

Rudra Rachana, an orphan and a native of Thandriyala village in Jagtial district, moved to Hyderabad after her SSC and lived in a state home at Yousufguda to pursue a polytechnic course.

For higher studies, she did not have money and started looking for a donor, when her issue was brought to the notice of the Rama Rao through social media.

The minister came to her aid, helping her secure a seat in CBIT. After completing her studies, she found employment and started earning.

Thanking Rama Rao on Monday, Rudra Rachana also tied a rakhi to him, recalling his assistance. Rachana said that her parents died a few years ago.

Rudra Rachana said that she donated Rs 1 lakh to the CMRF with the hope of helping girls and women with their studies.
