One-day conference held for welfare, residential school principals

 Hyderabad: A one-day conference was organised for principals of social welfare, tribal and Eklavya Model residential educational societies and ashram schools on Tuesday. The event was an orientation programme on different innovative practices that could be adopted by student leaders in institutions involving the community, with a clear vision to transform the lives of marginalized students of the institution.

State tribal welfare, women and child welfare minister Satyavathi Rathod and SC development minister Koppula Eshwar addressed educators at the event and said the Telangana state government would support the principals, teachers and other staff, who play a key role at the field level towards the cause of education. Secretary for TSWREIS, TTWREIS and EMRS, Dr. Naveen Nicholas assured complete support to implement the best practices for the welfare of students.

Eminent educationists such as Diganta Shiksha and Khelkud Samiti, Jaipur, director Rohit Dhankar, Pratham Education Foundation’s CEO Rukmini Banerjee and ‘World’s Best Teacher 2020’ awardee Ranjeet Singh Disale participated shared their experiences to achieve the best in the field of education.
