Bengaluru: Abandoned clock sparks panic near Magadi Road Metro Station

Metro services continued as per the schedule without any interruption due to the incident.

BENGALURU: Tension prevailed at Magadi Road Metro Station on Thursday morning after a staff found an abandoned table clock in a dustbin. After a thorough check, the police said it was a prank.

According to the police, around 11.20 am a house keeping staff found a packet containing a small table clock, covered with a gift wrapper, while cleaning a dustbin. She immediately informed the Station Controller and the local police was alerted.

“The police along with sniffer squad and Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad conducted search in the premises. After examining the table clock, we came to a conclusion that it was a prank. We have seized the clock for further investigation,” the police added.
