HC expresses condolences on the demise of TB Radhakrishnan

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Tuesday expressed its condolences on the demise of the Telangana High Court’s first Chief Justice, Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan. The Full Court chaired by Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan expressed the sympathies to the family members of the former Chief Justice.

Justice Radhakrishnan, 64, was Chief Justice for the High Court at Hyderabad for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during the carving of the separate High Courts for the two Telugu states on January 1, 2019. Later, he took oath as Chief Justice of the newly carved out Telangana High Court.

He later took over as Chief Justice of the Kolkata High Court, He passed away in Kochi on April 3 following a brief illness.

Justice Radhakrishnan was concerned about the destriction of the environment and took up suo motu PILs on environmental issues during his tenure as Chief Justice. He used to say that humans were the most selfish and dangerous creatures on earth.
