Hyderabad: Union tourism minister G. Kishan Reddy on Saturday distributed high-pressure toilet cleaning machines to representatives of state-run schools located in the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency which he represents in Parliament, at the Government High School at Jamia Osmania, Vidyanagar.

He cleaned a couple of toilets and the surroundings himself with the new tools to demonstrate their use.

The minister took to Twitter to share pictures from the school and said that providing the toilet cleaning machines across government schools in Secunderabad would ensure cleanliness, hygiene and facilitate improved sanitation.

"Ever since my MLA days, it has been my endeavour to ensure access to clean water & sanitation in the govt schools," he wrote. A video of the minister cleaning a toilet and the yard of the school has now gone viral on Twitter.
