OTBI and JTBI Join Forces to Boost Start-up Ecosystem in Hyderabad

The TBIs of both universities will provide mentoring, networking, and funding opportunities to the selected start-ups

Hyderabad: The Osmania Technology Business Incubator (OTBI) and JNTU-Hyderabad Technology Business Incubator (JTBI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Friday, to work together to create a screening committee for start-ups which would collectively circulate application forms and evaluate the proposals. The TBIs of both universities will provide mentoring, networking, and funding opportunities to the selected start-ups.

The MoU was signed by OTBI director Prof. E. Vidya Sagar and JTBI director Prof. M. Asha Rani, in the presence of Dr R. Hafeez Basha, CEO of OTBI, and Swathi Anandam, JTBI programme manager.

The announcement stated that pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration programmes were jointly developed by the two TBIs. With this partnership, innovators and students from both universities will gain a great deal.
