Dasara celebrations at Visakha Saradapeetham start on October 15

Visakhapatnam: The Sharannavaratri mahotsavam of Sri Sharada Swaroopa Rajashyamala Ammavaru will start on October 15.

Darshan of Goddess Rajashyamala in her daily incarnation:

First day: Balatripura Sundari
Second day: Maheshwari
Third day: Vaishnavi
Fourth day: Annapurna
Fifth day: Lalita Tripura Sundari
Sixth day: Saraswati Devi
Seventh day: Mahalakshmi
Eighth day: Mahakali
Ninth day: Mahishasura Mardhini
Vijayadashami: Vijaya Durga

On Vijayadashami, Ayudha Puja will be done near the Shami tree.

Every morning during the Sharannavaratri festival:

A special abhishekam will be done to Sri Sarada Swarupa Rajashyamala Ammavaru.

In the evening there will be a Peetharchan to Shri Sharada Swarupa Rajashyamala and Chandramouliswarulu then cultural worship will also follow.
Women will do daily kumkumarchana.

On October 20 mass Aksharabhyasam will be held.

In this regard, extensive arrangements have been made in Visakha Sri Sharada Peetham.

The festivities will conclude with Vijayadashami celebrations which is on October 24.

Sharada Peetham Seer Saraswati said, “Those participating in these pujas will be given the Rajshyamala Yantram that have been worshipped in the footsteps of Rajshyamala. On Moola Nakshatra on October 20 Saraswati Puja and mass Aksharabhyasam will be held. Books and pens will be provided to the boys and girls.”
