Adilabad: On instructions from Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, officials have collected information about the progress of construction of the 2BHKs at historical Jodeghat.

Details have also been collected by them about the road connectivity, education and health facilities and other basic amenities in the village in Kerameri mandal of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.

Collector Hemant Bhorkhade visited Jodeghat and had an interaction with the village elders and officials. He inquired with them about the status of construction of the 2BHKs as on December 7.

The officials collected information about how many 2BHK were sanctioned and how many were completed and how many were yet to be completed. A report would be submitted to the state chief secretary in these respects.

Meanwhile, Adilabad collector Rahul Raj visited the Indravelli memorial and paid rich tributes to martyrs. He held a gram sabha at the memorial and interacted with the elected representatives and adivasi elders.

The BRS government constructed a Komaram Bheem museum and a memorial at Jodeghat with '25 crore. KCR had also promised 2bhk houses to the residents of Jodeghat but the construction dragged on for years due to lack of funds allotment.
