MLA poachgate case: CBI sends one more reminder to CS

HYDERABAD: CBI officials wrote a sixth reminder to the Chief Secretary seeking information on the MLAs poachgate case in order to go about their investigation as directed by the court.

Delhi CBI officials are likely to register a case on the incident. Cyberabad police had initially registered cases while the state government formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the issue.

While the SIT was probing the case, the court directed the CBI to register the case and investigate based on petitions filed by different people.

A SP rank officer in Delhi is closely following the developments in connection with the case.

In the letter addressed to chief secretary, Suman Kumar, CBI SP from New Delhi, and camp office in Hyderabad, referred to the order dated February 6, pronounced by the High Court directing the transfer of investigation in FIR No. 455/2022 of Moinabad police station to the CBI.
