Kurnool:  Police returned 510 stolen/lost mobile phones to their owners in Kurnool district on Sunday after recovering them through innovative "CHAT BOT" technology services.

SP K. Raghuveer Reddy said a special WhatsApp number, 9121101107, was created for people to report their missing devices. A user-friendly "CHATBOT" technology eased the procedure. People were asked to click on a URL provided, which sent them to a submission form where they could provide vital information such as their name, district, police station jurisdiction, and the IMEI-1 and IMEI-2 numbers linked with their missing mobile phones.

The SP asked the people to continue using the offered WhatsApp number to report missing or stolen cell phones.
