Hyderabad: Three parked school buses catch fire

Hyderabad: Three parked school buses of Janapriya Olympiad School caught fire in Miyapur on Sunday afternoon.

“We are not aware of the source of the fire. One of the buses caught fire which spread into other buses parked adjacent to it. Luckily, nobody was injured,” said S. Ravi Kumar, assistant commissioner of police, Miyapur.

“We had deputed two fire tenders to the spot and it took more than an hour to douse the fire and bring the situation under control. We are estimating the property loss to the tune of around Rs 15 lakh,” said fire officials.
