WARANGAL: Take immediate action against the persons who were trying to malign the image of BJP state chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar by posting derogatory posts on social media, demanded the convenor of the Karimnagar Parliament segment, B. Praveen Rao, after lodging a complaint at the Two Town police station in Karimnagar on Sunday.

It is to be noted that a Facebook user with the profile KTR-TRS posted a photo of Bandi Sanjay with a derogatory comment that ‘Gundu Sanjay Kumar, Ganja Broker in Telangana, passed away’. It went viral very soon on various social media platforms. After noticing the post, the BJP leaders, under the leadership of Praveen Rao, lodged a complaint at the police station.

Speaking on the occasion, Praveen alleged that they noticed Sanjay’s photo with a derogatory comment on Facebook in the morning.

Unable to tolerate the image of Bandi Sanjay and the BJP, some people under the influence of leaders  of ruling BRS are posting such posts on social media platforms, he added.

He said. “There is a need to keep an eye on such posts on social media. The police officials must take immediate action as per law against the persons who owned KTR-TRS’s Facebook ID.”
