Vijayawada: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday condemned the attack on ex-serviceman Mopada Adinarayana, allegedly by the ruling YSRC workers, when he complained to district officials about grabbing of land at Routhulapalem in Visakhapatnam district.

In a statement, the JS president said supporters of the area sarpanch associated with YSR Congress had attacked the ex-serviceman when he lodged a complaint against encroachment of government lands, including drains, and changing of the revenue records.

Pawan Kalyan asked police why they had failed to respond promptly in the attack case. Further, why the police had registered only an attack case and not an attempt to murder case.

The Jana Sena leader said their party will complain to Kendriya Sainik Board with regard to the attack and extend all support to the affected family.
