Visakhapatnam: Unemployed youth took out a procession in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday from Samatha College to AS Raja College demanding the release of jobs notification.

Addressing them, TD MLC Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao questioned Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy about the job calendar that he had promised to release annually. “Where is the job calendar,” he asked, demanding release of jobs notification.

He pointed out that during his Padayatra as opposition leader, Jagan had made grand announcements that he will annually announce job calendars and provide jobs to the unemployed. But after becoming the Chief Minister, he has forgotten about the same.

Speaking at the rally, TD leader Vepada Chiranjeevi demanded that state government issue notifications for filling up of Group One and Group Two posts immediately. He maintained that under Chandrababu Naidu's regime, jobs were created every year. The unemployed also received unemployment benefits

“Youth are now looking at TD. Chandrababu is going to form the government in AP in the forthcoming elections,” Chiranjeevi declared.

JAC convenor Siddu and Co-Convenor Pawan Kumar Yadav participated in the rally.
