Hyderabad sees 41.6°C, today may be cooler

Hyderabad: Hyderabad has recorded 41.6 degrees celsius on Friday, which is slightly more in the day temperature compared to the last few days.

The month of May started on a cooler note  with the maximum temperature remaining below 40 degree celsius. However, the temperature in the city crossed the 40- mark on Friday.

The city, however, is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky on Saturday, with possibility of rain, thunderstorm or dust storm.

While Hyderabad was melting the scorching summer, a few places in the state have received light rainfall on Friday.

The local weather bureau issued thunderstorm warning for the state on May 6. Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty wind likely to occur at isolated places in a few districts of Telangana.

The thunderstorm is due to an upper air cyclonic circulation which  lies over central parts of Madhya Pradesh. Some place in the state could see light to moderate rain or thundershowers on Saturday.
