Visakhapatnam: In commemoration of Navy Day, the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) honored the valiant service personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in various conflicts, including the 1971 War. On Monday, Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, Commander-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command, laid a floral wreath at the 'Victory at Sea' War Memorial on Visakhapatnam's beach road.

Wreaths were also placed by Visakhapatnam district collector Dr. A. Mallikarajuna, commissioner of police A. Ravi Shankar, GVMC commissioner C.M. Saikanth Varma, and Rear Admiral T. Sudhakar (Retd), Vice President of the Navy Foundation's Vizag chapter.

This solemn occasion served as a reminder of the unwavering dedication and commitment of the ENC personnel to safeguarding the nation's vast maritime borders and assets along the Eastern Seaboard.
