KOZHIKODE: CPM Kannur district secretary P. Jayarajan has warned party workers against using his photographs on flex boards. He has made the comments in a Facebook post  at a time when the  controversy over setting up huge flex boards with his image is still raging in party circles. Mr Jayarajan urged the cadres to avoid such  moves as it would help only the party foes and  hostile media elements to create  confusion among the people. “What we should spread is not any individual-based message but political message,” he added.

Mr Jayarajan, who has been named by the CBI in the murder of RSS leader Kathiroor Manoj, has gained the image of a victim among party cadres.  The CPM state committee had recently criticised Mr Jayarajan for the campaign materials used by cadres conferring on him a larger than life image.   Mr Jayarajan’s warning is against the flex boards that have appeared in Kannur in connection with the party’s  annual conferences at various levels.
