Hyderabad: British Deputy High Commissioner to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Gareth Wynn Owen, on Saturday was barred from donating blood during his visit to Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, as his iron level was found to be low.

Chiranjeevi gave the diplomat a tour of the blood bank to showcase the process, while Owen congratulated the Tollywood star on being awarded ‘Indian Film Personality of the year 2022’ and called him an inspiration, for his many charitable works that help save thousands of lives.

Thanking him, Chiranjeevi said that Owen’s visit will inspire thousands to follow through on their ambition of donating blood.
