3-day G20 workshop on climate resilient agriculture from today

 HYDERABAD: The department of agricultural research and education (DARE) will be organising a G20 technical workshop on “Climate resilient agriculture” at Hotel Novotel here from September 4 to 6. The event is likely to be attended by around 100 delegates, including from G20 member states and senior officials from the several Union ministries.

On Tuesday, the delegates will be taken around Indian Institute of Millets Research for a first-hand feel of the scientific advances made in the field of research on millets commemorating the International Year of Millet. They will visit the CRIDA Hayathnagar research farm on the concluding day.
