THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Women's Commission chairperson M. C. Josephine has sought the opinion of the law officer on filing  a case against Mr P. C. George MLA for making anti-women comments. Mr George,  during  a press meet in Kottayam recently, had questioned the integrity of the actress who was sexually assaulted. “How could actress go to work the next day if she was brutally assaulted,”? he had asked.

He also ridiculed the  claims of the police and rallied behind actor Dileep saying the atrocities against men were  going  unheeded. Dileep was framed in the case, he alleged. The women’s organisations and prominent women leaders later came down on Mr George for his  comments.   The commission will take further  action against Mr George  after receiving the law officer’s advice.
