HYDERABAD: Health minister T. Harish Rao inaugurated a robotic surgery system costing Rs 35 crore and urology equipment at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, the first government hospital to house such a facility.

Harish Rao said that the government had invested Rs 54 crore for the procurement of new medical equipment under the Aarogyasri healthcare programme. This signified the commitment of the government towards providing quality healthcare services to the underprivileged, he said.
