Kottayam: The authorities of Alphonsa Public School at  Aruvithura have decided to file a complaint with the police for an indecent photograph of the students in uniform being  circulated on the social media. They alleged  that the uniform was altered in the photograph by some vested interests. Three students were shown wearing  a uniform displaying a special design resembling  ‘Mulakkacha’ (a cloth used to cover the breast in the olden times). Their faces were blurred  using Photoshop. This was widely circulated through the social media sites.

The school authorities alleged that the picture was morphed and that the design of the uniform was  changed by someone to defame the school. PTA president Sabu Pundipara told this newspaper that the school will lodge a complaint with  the Erattupetta police station against it. The jacket which was part of the uniform was altered using photoshop and a  derogatory design added by some with ulterior motives. The Alphonsa Public School, Aruvithura, is a co-ed school up to Class X having 1,500 students managed by the FCC congregation.
