Kerala: Cabinet nod to implement E-payment at selected sub-registrar offices

Thiruvananthapuram: Cabinet on Thursday approved E Payment online registration for accepting registration fee. The registration department's E payment pilot project will be implemented at sub registrar offices in Chala, Sasthamangalam, Pattom, Thiruvallom and Nemom. The facility will be extended to other offices subsequently. The value of free travel coupons of legislators have been raised from existing Rs 2.75 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. Cabinet also decided raise the travel coupon value of former MLAs by Rs 10,000.

Cabinet decided to grant benefits of ninth Pay Revision Commission to the employees of the Kerala State Handicapped Welfare Corporation with effect from July 1, 2009 subject to the conditions prescribed by the finance department. Pay Commission benefits will be granted to employees of Kerala Coir Corporation with retrospective effect from January 1, 2013 subject to the conditions of finance department. Cabinet approves draft Manual Dredging policy. The policy seeks to maintain the required depth in channels and basins of ports in the state to facilitate smooth passage of ships and boats. 

As of now manual dredging is taking place in n nine ports in the state; Kasargod , Manjeshwaram, Azheekal, Nileswaram, Thalassery, Vadakara, Beypore, Ponnani and Kodangaloor. Cabinet decided to create four senior lecturers post in college of pharmaceutical science in TD Medical College in Alappuzha. Two post of senior government pleaders in Administrative Tribunal, Thiruvananthapuram Bench and four posts of government pleaders have been created. The following posts have been created for starting third year BDS course in Thirssur; two posts of professor including principal, five associate professors, six assistant professors and four senior residents.
