Manepally Jewellers holds awards for women

Hyderabad: The event ‘Manepally Jewellers Present Vysya Limelight Awards for Women,’ a formal entity, established by leading Arya Vysya businessmen and professionals to recognise and reward the women of Arya Vysya community, as part of its community outreach programme.

Founder of the awards Siva Kumar Emmadi said “The Manepally Jewellers Present Vysya Limelight Awards for Women has gained tremendous outreach and received several nominations.”

There are two types of awards — jury-based awards with 21 categories, and ‘Most Popular Vysya Women Awards,’ which will be received by three women. Women achievers who have been popular in the community for their work will be considered for the awards.

The categories for jury based awards includes entrepreneurs, designers, doctors, chartered accountants, lawyers, NRI entrepreneurs, start-ups by women, IT/ITES professionals, architects/interior designers, educationists, fashion designers social media influencers, public servants and those in the fields of photography, dance, folk dance, photography, cookery, literature and more.

Emmadi added, “These awards recognise the efforts and hard work of women from the Vysya community and will encourage them to achieve great heights.” A jury comprising renowned businessmen, officers, well-known personalities among others will choose the best from the nominations.

The ‘Most Popular Vysya Women Award,’ is directly based on the number of votes received. Padmaja Manepalli and Palakurti Bramaramba won the entrepreneur of the year awards.
