Conjunctivitis: Harish extends eye hospital hours

HYDERABAD: In view of the increasing cases of conjunctivitis, health minister T. Harish Rao directed the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital to extend its outpatient hours. He emphasised the need to raise awareness about precautions, prevention and treatment for eye infections. Medicines, eye drops, and ointments were available in all government hospitals and encouraged those experiencing symptoms to seek immediate treatment.

Harish Rao during a video conference directed district medical health officers and superintendents from all districts to assess viral infections, conjunctivitis, cataract and other seasonal diseases.
