Hyderabad metro launches unique pass scheme for students

HYDERABAD: L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (LTMRHL) on Saturday launched a new student pass scheme for 2023. On paying for 20 trips they will get an additional 10 trips free. The scheme was jointly launched by N.V.S. Reddy, managing director, of HMRL and K.V.B. Reddy, MD and CEO of L&TMRHL at Ameerpet metro station.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said, “The offer is part of our continued efforts to serve our young passengers with the best value for money travel option.”

Newly-branded smart cards will be issued for the student pass, which will have a validity of 30 days from the date of the card’s purchase. The offer will be available till March 31, 2024. Only one smart card will be issued to a student.

The passes will be available from 11 am to 5 pm at the red line in JNTU College, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, Victoria Memorial and Dilsukhnagar; Green Line at Narayanguda and Blue Line at Nagole, Parade Grounds, Begumpet and Raidurg. Further details can be had on www.ltmetro.com.
