Kudumbashree products now at a click
The portal will feature products in the national market.
KOZHIKODE: Soon you will be able to get quality products from Kudumbashree at your doorsteps like you buy from Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal. The online portal will be launched here soon to sell a wide array of products, including curry powder, breakfast puttu powder, wheat flour, snacks, pickle, soap, juice, garments and vegetables. The members of various Kudumbashree units in the city are now busy with the photo shoots of the products which will be displayed on the portal.
The portal which will brand the Kudumbashree products in the national market will also feature facilities like home delivery and return provisions. “The online portal is an idea developed in connection with the upcoming ten-day entrepreneurs’ meet titled ‘Vibrant 2017’ being organised by Kudumbashree here from August 20 to 30,” said Kudumbashree programme officer M.V. Ramsi Ismail.
The portal is a step forward for the Kudumbashree in its 19th year of launch. “We will offer some of our best products to the markets in the entire country,” Mr Ramsi said. So far, the Kudumbashree products were marketed during the festival season, but once the portal is launched, they will be available all the time.
